He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Leon Merck and Clemmie Sarah White Merck; and his sister Mary Merck. He is survived by: his children, Robert Merck of Gainesville and Tonya Leigh Aaron of Gainesville; and his siblings, Susan Merck of South Ga, Beverly Hulsey (John) of Clermont, Johnny Merck of Westminster, S. C., Joe Merck of Gainesville and David Merck (Hope).
