We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 82, Brenda Cook of Gainesville, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brenda Cook to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parent JC; her siblings, Terry Simmons and Barbara Simmons Gooch; and her daughter-in-law Lori Elkins Cook. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Lee Cook; her children, Bobby Cook, Nancy, Timmy Cagle and Misty; her son-in-law Chris Bales; her grandchildren, Chris, Rush Davenport, Cody, Cason Cagle, Michael and Claudia Combs; her siblings, Joyce Strickland, Lynn Grindle and Tony; her sisters-in-law, Joan Simmons and Diane Simmons Gravitt; and her granddaughter Amanda Norris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Homes (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Brenda name.
