As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Almand and Mary Almand; her children, Robby (Kimberley) of Herndon, VA, David (Kelly) of Chattanooga, TN, Jason (Gina) of Gainesville, GA, Tim (Kim) of Houston, TX and Ashley (Jordan) of Knoxville, TN; and her sister Janet (George) of Atlanta, GA. She was also cherished by her fourteen grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites anyone wishing to honor Carol to provide gifts to Choices Pregnancy Care Center in Gainesville, where she volunteered for many years.
