He is survived by: his wife Lucy Howell of Gainesville; his children, Jimmy Norris (Debra) of Gainesville, Jeff Howell of Leesburg, Jody Howell (Sherry) of Gainesville, Tammy Holland (Wayne) of Carnesville, Jeani Harrell (Doug) of Gainesville and Janie Brackett (Troy) of Watkinsville; his grandchildren, Chris Key (Kelly), Chassity Brooke Hooper, Chelsey Shubert, Katie Hooper, Alex Chavez (Courtney), Nick Norris, Leah Long (Cody) and Chase Adams; his sisters, Nell Dixon of Gainesville and Francis Beard (James) of Flowery Branch; and his close friends, Ferrell Bray and Paul McElmurray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
