He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edgar "Bud" Brookshire (Ola) and Odell Rackard (Ilene); his stepmother Nancy Brookshire; and his brothers, Scott and Chris Brookshire.

He is survived by: his parents, Dwight Brookshire and Marilyn Bridier (Kenneth); his siblings, Tammy Braswell, Melanie Mcbrayer, Christine Fuller (John), Brad, John and Ken Bridier (Lisa); and his daughters, Kaitlin Echols, Shelbie Brookshire and Zoey White. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and a granddaughter.
