Dean leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dean’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Dean will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Travis and Rona Travis; and his sister Penny Schnitzias. He is survived by: his wife Jean Travis of Gainesville; his children, Robin Travis Murphrey (Lee) of Honduras, June Travis of Rhome, Stacey Militello (Peter) of Marlborough, Alison Horning of Brandon, Florida and William Travis of Winder, Georgia; and his sister Rona Ann Samuels of Aztec. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
