She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Jean Merck and James "Jim" Lester Merck; and her nephew Steven Souther. She is survived by: her siblings, Terry Merck (Rebecca), Timothy Merck, Todd Merck, Daniel Merck and Corlissa Souther (Fred). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great‑nieces and nephews.
