It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Hooper of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Hooper and Etheleen Hooper (Jenkins) of Gainesville. He is survived by: his siblings, Douglas (Maritza Hooper), Lilburn of Georgia and Dana (Greg Wigley); his nieces and nephews, Melanie Hooper (Georgia), Alex Cuda (Georgia), Andrew (Candace Cuda) and Ashley (Scott Malley); his great-nephews, Liam Malley, Lucas Sipple-Cuda and Logan Cuda; and his great-niece Nora Malley.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to The Georgia Transplant Foundation.
