It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Leon Hunt of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Leon Hunt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Merle Leon and Sarah Glass Hunt. He is survived by : his son Chris Hunt (Dawn); his grandchildren, Sydney Hunt, Haley Hunt, Ben Hunt of Gainesville and Cole Hunt of Gainesville; his sister Shirley Santaniello of Flowery Branch; and his aunt Polly Freeman of Gainesville. He is also survived by other cousins and loving relatives.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Memorial Park (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
