She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon "Lee" M. Gilstrap Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Gilstrap (Owen); and her siblings, Nancy Gilstrap and Lee Gilstrap Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin "BJ" Hulsey Jr.; her children, Colonel Benjamin J. Hulsey III, Allison Blackwood, Holly Wyatt (Larry) of Marion, VA and Stephanie Hulsey; her grandchildren, Julie Kriss (Scott), Amanda Ramey (Pete), Beth Rice (Jake), Matthew Cagle (Kara), Ashton Paine (Josh), Makayla McAllister (Cole), Austin Wyatt and Gracie Wyatt; her great grandchildren, Shane Kriss (Sage), Nate Kriss, Walter Rice and Charlie Rice; and her sisters, Carolyn Boyd (Chris) of Costa Mesa, CA and Ann Roberts of Conyers, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel, Riverside Drive Gainesville Email (989 Riverside Dr, Gainesville, GA 30501). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
