She was predeceased by: her husband Benny Wooten; her son Randall Wooten; her stepdaughter Roxanne McIntyre; her sister Linda Watts; and her parents, Harrison Whitfield and Margaret Louise Turpin Whitfield.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Phillips (Brian) and Crystal Tyler; her stepchildren, Susanne Franklin and Patrick Wooten (Joy); and her sisters, Mary Sue Hopper and Faye Whitfield Justice. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the McGahee Griffin Stewart Funeral Home (175 Vfw Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shirley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (771 Shirley Grove, Clarkesville, GA 30523).
