He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Poole and Myrtle Poole; and his son Christopher Gene Poole. He is survived by: his wife Betty Poole of Gainesville, GA; his daughter Lynn Duke of Gainesville, GA; his grandchildren, Lacey Hood (Matt) of Gainesville, GA and Dylan Duke of Gainesville, GA; and his great grandchildren, Jentry and Fenley Hood of Gainesville, GA.
