With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Jane McDougald of Gainesville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Childers and Lora Cochran Childers; her husband Delmar Andrew McDougald; her children, Christine McDougald and David McDougald; her granddaughter Rhonda Miller; her great grandchild Brittany Miller; and her siblings, Ester Chewning, Marie Kent, Edith Martin, Benson Childers, Frank Childers and John Childers.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise; her son-in-law Stephen Thomas of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Donny Lovell, Trent McDougald, Cody Thomas, Conner Thomas, Clay Phillips and Priscilla Eveans; and her great grandchildren, Kimberly Eller, Michael Miller, Dustin Lovell, Dylan Lovell, Kyle Smith, Rhett Thomas and Cash Thomas. She is also survived by 5 great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and other loving relatives.
