He was predeceased by : his parents, George Wilburn and Laura Hood Cleveland; and his siblings, Raymond Cleveland, Gene Cleveland, Roscoe Cleveland, J. W. Cleveland, Viola Cleveland Timms, Corabelle Nash and Mary Lou Roberts.

He is survived by : his wife Lottie Mae Cleveland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
