It is with sadness that the passing of Gary Gaines (Gainesville, Georgia) is shared. Gary, born on January 27, 1950, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Gaines and Lewis Gaines. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Kelley Gaines; his children, Kelley Gaines Van Guilder (Andy Van Guilder), Graham Gaines (Mercy Gamtin) and Neil Gaines (Margaret Aldridge Gaines); his grandchildren, Whit Friedman, Laney Friedman, Annie Kate Gaines, Payton Gaines, Merle Gaines and Daisy Gaines; and his sister Gail Chester (David Chester).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gainesville First United Methodist Church (2780 Thompson Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506).
