He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Wiegand and Horace Wiegand. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Alison Striggles (Brandon) and Travis Wiegand; his grandchildren, Ella Wiegand, Riley Striggles, Nikolas Wiegand, Ramsay Striggles and River Striggles; his sister Kathie Smith (Steve); and his nieces and nephews, Patty Hall, Candice Hahn, Alan McComas and Jason Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The Lake Lanier Rowing Club at 3105 Clarks Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA.
