He is survived by: his wife Dianne Ethridge Gay of Gainesville; his children, Donna Gay (Marty), Tony Gay, Ronnie Gay (Patty), Regina Leger (Randy), Jeff Brooks (Dawn), Denise Klaes (Jim) and Larissa Mathis (Wade); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Evans, Timothy Evans, Terry Gay, David Ryan Lopas, Rylan Leger, Raven Leger, Sloan Mathis Hatcher, Tabitha Herrington, Matthew Klaes, Jameson Klaes, Courtney Brooks and Autum Brooks; his brothers, R. L. Gay (Wanda) and Jimmy Ethridge (Valerie); and his sister-in-law Beth Ethridge. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Ewing Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery (1777 Ewing Chapel Rd, Dacula, GA 30019).
