He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Henderson Hatfield and Madge Eloise Hatfield (Evans); and his brothers, Garland Evans Hatfield and Jonny S. "Chief" Hatfield. He is survived by: his brother George Hatfield; his nieces, Krystan Hatfield and Erin Lee Hatfield; his nephew Matthew (Susan Hatfield); and his great-niece Molly Hatfield.
