It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Edward Robertson of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Robertson and Amy Robertson; his grandchildren, Rylan Elrod and Ariah Robertson; his siblings, Shirley Tankersley, Charles Robertson, Bobby Robertson and Sandra Robertson; and his friends, Ken Crenshaw and Steve Crow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel (989 Riverside Dr, Gainesville, GA 30501).
During a charity football game, Hugh sustained a spinal cord injury that could have changed the course of his life- but he defied all odds and walked again, a true testament to his perseverance and grit.
