She was predeceased by: her father Isaiah Buffington; her sisters, Idea Randolph, Addie Joe Buffington, Margret Parham, Grace Longstreet, Dessa Longstreet and Rachel Longstreet Brothers (Raymond Scott); and her children, Dexter Jackson and Anetta Lavern Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Dwight, James, Edward, Juanita, Bernice and Valerie; her grandchildren, Anika, Tara, Zachary, Paige, Xochittll and Elsalvador; her great grandchildren, Tamijah Chandler, Zamaria Mendoza Christopher Roundy, Serenity Cheeks, Mia Irena and River H. Roundy; and her siblings, Edna Jackson, Gladdis Glasper and Mary Carruth. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
