He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Daniels and Buster Johnson; his daughter Jackie Elivira Johnson; his siblings, Buster Jr., Georgia Ann, Dorothy and Willene; and his granddaughter Alesia Tiara Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Dell Johnson; his children, Talford Johnson and Future Johnson-Simmons (Jacobey); his sisters, Shirley Lindsey and Linda Ellison; his grandchildren, Tamera Tolbert (Eric), Destiny Simmons and Christian Johnson; and his great grandchildren, E'Mya, Jediah, Melody, Maliya and EJ. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wimberly Funeral Home (325 Summit St SE, Gainesville, GA 30501). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Antioch Baptist Church (1010 Mill St SE, Gainesville, GA 30501).
