We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 79, James Franklin Brown of Gainesville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Brown and Jessie Mae Hardman Brown. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Brown Mahaffey (Gainesville); his grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Jordan Mahaffey and Jayden Mahaffey; his great grandchildren, Julian Mahaffey and Jade Mahaffey; and his caregivers, Anna and Tamkio.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Homes (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
