He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ray and Linda Fowler Gee; his brother Timothy Gee; and his grandmother Gladys Gilmer Phillips. He is survived by: his son Jason Gee; the mother of his child Barbara Cheeley; his grandchildren, Alyssa Gray, Alaina Holland and Grayson Henson; his uncle Harrison Elrod (Margaret); his aunt Jeanene Witherow; and his nieces, Carly Ray Stroud and Jada Boone. He is also survived by cousins, extended family members, innumerable Masonic brothers.
