He was predeceased by: his mother Fannie Wimpye. He is survived by: his father William Gordon Wimpye; his siblings, William Odell "Du-Bug" and Trish "Pat" Jackson; his wife Bernice Harbin Wimpye; his children, Sarita Marshall (Steven), Steven Wimpye (Meltera), Odell Wimpye (Kunka), Tyrus Wimpye, Omah Wimpye (Sonya) and Tyra Wimpye; his grandchildren, Steven Jr. Wimpye (Leticia), Tylor Marshall, Kacie Williams, Triston Wimpye, Malcolm Wimpye, Tyasia Wimpye, Nyla Wimpye, Madison Wimpye, Destiny Wimpye, Omah Wimpye Jr. and Konnor Wimpye; and his great grandchildren, Kataleya, Izabella, Camila and Jace Wimpye.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John Baptist Church (757 E E Butler Pkwy, Gainesville, GA 30501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
