With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeannie Kinney of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on January 17, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Robert Turner and Glynda Nelson Clotille; and her husband Herbert Mitchell "Mitch" Kinney. She is survived by: her son Brian; her daughter-in-law Carol Kinney of Braselton; her daughter Melinda; her son-in-law Jim McIntyre of Gainesville; her sisters, Jane Wilhoit of McDonough, Angela Clayden of Pahrump and Tisha Ruffolo of St. Augustine; and her grandchildren, Sean Hart, Steven Kinney and Kaitlyn Kinney.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at t2t.org, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
