He is survived by: his children, Kate Burroughs Stokes of Atlanta, Brady Strickland of Manhattan Beach and Kiley; his son-in-law Adam Zimmerman; his grandchildren, Avery Lloyd and Charlie Ann of Fleming Island, Florida; his nephew Jere Johnson of Pickens; his niece Gina Adkins of Greenville; his sister Barbara Ann Megaw (Mark) of Athens; his niece Angela Megaw of Gainesville; his cousins, Jan Loftis, Janna Booher, Ronnie Boggs and Neese Boggs Tom (Shelley); and his close friend Robert Wellon (Jan).
