He is survived by: his brother Joe; his children, Janie Strickland and John W.; his daughter-in-law Sharon Murphy; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Bolick, Jonathan Strickland, Amanda Bryan, Joey Strickland, John Sexton, Joe Murphy and Robbie Murphy. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
