He was predeceased by: his wife Sidney Ramsey Lackey. He is survived by: his daughter Carol; his son-in-law David Johnston; his son Robert M. Lackey (Bob); his daughter-in-law Nicky Lackey; his grandchildren, Matthew Ruff, Lauren Quaife, Jessica Rodriguez and Ashley Pitts; his sister Diane McKinney of Murfreesboro, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Lipscomb of Gainesville, GA, Mildred and J. L. Britt of Roswell, GA.. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home (355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30501). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
