He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Michael Barbato Sr. and Laura Bogert Barbato. He is survived by: his wife Janet Barbato of Gainesville; his daughters, Christina Barbato of Gainesville, Ashley Barbato of Lawrenceville and Leanne Taylor of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Autumn Shockley (AJ), Joseph Shockley and Lino G. Hernandez; his close friends, Tracy Shuler and Marcelino Hernandez; his sister Laurie; his brother-in-law John Dreher; and his brother Raymond Barbato. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Memorial Park (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
