He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Porter and Ruby Lee Smith; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Ann Smith; and his sister Judy Smith Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Louise Smith; his niece Rachel Bahin (Joseph); and his nephews, Richard "Rick" Smith and Randall Walter (Amanda). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
