Joyce Ray McKenzie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Ray McKenzie of Gainesville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Ray and Dorothy Ray; her daughter-in-law Melissa McKenzie; and her sister-in-law Marsha McKenzie. She is survived by: her husband David McKenzie of Gainesville, GA; her children, Carl McKenzie of Gainesville, GA, Kathleen McKenna (James) of York, ME and Paul McKenzie (Holly) of Columbia Falls, MT; her grandchildren, Taylor Kelly (Gabriel) of Roswell, GA, Kathryn Brown (Christopher) of York, ME, Sean McKenna (Amanda) of Melrose, MA, Ian McKenzie of Columbia Falls, MT and Ilah McKenzie of Columbia Falls, MT; and her brother-in-law Durrell McKenzie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (3612 Old Oakwood Rd, Oakwood, GA 30566).
