She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dewey and Laura Jane McDonald; and her brother Lewis McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Charles Overby of Gainesville; her children, Jennifer Overby of Gainesville and Mark Overby of Gainesville; her granddaughter Jade Anderson; and her sister Louise Roper. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
