She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jody; her daughters, Lila Kate (Matt) and Abby (Stephen); her siblings, Robin, Jason and Rick; her stepmother Patti; her goddaughter Bria; her pet Maeve; and her parents, Lila Colquitt Bernstein and James Selig Bernstein. She was also cherished by her husband and daughters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gainesville First United Methodist Church (2780 Thompson Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506).
In place of flowers, the Cooley family asks that you consider a donation to The Knox Martin Foundation for Brain Cancer Research, which funds innovative research on glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of brain cancer.
