With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Garrison (Gainesville, Georgia), who passed away on November 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Peter Schlegel and Barbara McDonald Schlegel; her husband Charles Aaron Garrison; her siblings, Jenny Vreeland and Pete Schlegel; and her granddaughter Tara Diane Garrison.
She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Garrison (William Fowler III) of Lula, GA.; and her sisters, Virginia Yuraska of Montgomery, AL and Kaye Greenwood of Colorado. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Homes (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
