With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melvin Ladd Woodruff (Gainesville, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Woodruff and Bertha Ladd Woodruff; and his brothers, Donald and Doug Woodruff. He is survived by: his wife Joan Skinner Woodruff; his sons, Ricky Woodruff (Rachelle) of Mt. Airy and Chad Woodruff (Amy) of Mt. Airy; his grandchildren, Casey Woodruff, Riya Woodruff, Cooper Woodruff, Ryte Woodruff, Coby Woodruff, Sydney Gerrin and Rennon Woodruff; his great grandchildren, Raelynn and Jansen; and his sister Janet Woodruff of Gainesville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Chestatee Baptist Church in memory of Melvin.
