Peggy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Peggy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Peggy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Ledford and Georgia Lee Crane McIntyre; her stepfather Clyde Benjamin McIntyre (Mac); and her siblings, Jerri Rich, Betty Keith, JoAnne Davenport and Coy Ledford.
She is survived by: her son Joey Ayers (Susan) of Gainesville; her granddaughters, Josie Ayers of Augusta and Jada Ayers of Gainesville; and her brother Ronny McIntyre (Joyce) of Gainesville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Homes (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
