He was predeceased by : his father Edward Rubio Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Carol; his children, Nichole, Wade Martin, Nicholas, Ashley Rubio, Victoria "Doll" and Rob Meeks; and his mother Mary Rubio. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, and other loving family members.

The family asks that donations be made to Glioblastoma Research Organization in lieu of flowers.
