We bid farewell to Rita Peck Shockley of Gainesville, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 77. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Dana Greenway, Sr. and Ruby Wall Greenway; and her significant other John Robert Shockley. She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Greenway Cape; the father of her children Johnathan Wayne Peck; her grandchildren, Andrew, Maria, Tyler (Kailyn), Charlie, Brady Peck, Jerith, Madelyn, Isabelle, Dorian and Nobi Peck; Jonathan Scott Peck, Jason Ross Peck and Joshua Jewell Peck (Lori Dover).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel, Riverside Drive Gainesville Email (989 Riverside Dr, Gainesville, GA 30501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel (989 Riverside Dr, Gainesville, GA 30501). An entombment will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Chapel of Memories.
