We announce the death of Rodney Young of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2026. Rodney will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Young; and his stepfather Glenn Martin. He is survived by: his pet Ruth; his mother Martha Dunagan Martin; his half-sister Shannon Trotter; and his close friends, Cody McHan, Jenny Cheek, Lamar, Mary Pepper, Amber Evans (Danny), Andrew Dunagan and Mitzi Williams (Ric). He is also survived by other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Belmont Baptist Church (3635 Belmont Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30507).
