He is survived by: his children, Gina Patterson (Clermont) and Tresa Patterson (Gainesville); his grandchildren, Lauren, Cole Cantrell, Luke Piper, Brooks, Alyssa Patterson, Jay, Jaycee Patterson, Katelynn Patterson and Duke Patterson; his great grandchildren, Piper Cantrell, June Patterson and Watson Cantrell; his girlfriend Tammy Shaw; and his siblings, Billy, Sheila Patterson, Joey Patterson and Debbie Patterson.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alta Vista Cemetery (521 Jones St, Gainesville, GA 30501).
