He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Roy Pirkle and Alma Ruth Newman Pirkle; his wife Mary Alice Pirkle; his sons, Milton "Pete" Pirkle and William Roy Pirkle "Little Roy"; and his grandson Joseph Allen Seabolt.

He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah McFalls (Ven) of Augusta, Ruth Pirkle (Chad Sexton) of Lula and Beverly Pirkle of Lynn Haven; and his grandchildren, Tammy Farr (Blake), Michael Seabolt (Kristan), Christy Meeks, Chad McFalls (Julie), Amy Goodwin (Jamie), Jeremy Pirkle (Laura), Rachelle Tucker (Brian), Jamie Pirkle, Amanda Tullis (Daryl) and Alyssa Edgerton (Brad). He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren. And many other special relatives.
