He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Hooper and Lula Craven Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hooper of Gillsville, GA; his son Andy; his daughter-in-law Kristin Hooper of Gillsville, GA; his granddaughters, Aria and Kaia Hooper; and his cousin Libby Norris.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Homes (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
