With sadness, we share the passing of Ruth Money of Gainesville, Georgia. Ruth, born on September 24, 1931, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Ruth for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nell Pegg and Ben J. Idol; and her husband Jack Wiley Money. She is survived by: her children, Ann Money Goble (Hank) of Gainesville and John Money (Carol) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Ava Goble Reeves (Harrison) of Atlanta, GA and Jackson Archer Goble of Sandy Springs, GA; and her great grandchild Walton Harrison Reeves IV.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (422 Brenau Ave NE, Gainesville, GA 30501).
