We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, at the age of 71, Sharon J. Hicks of Gainesville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Brody Cassitty and Lilly Mae Cassitty; and her son Billy Hicks, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Hicks, Sr.; her children, Sandy Landress (Bill) and Bobby Hicks (Christine); her grandchildren, Ashley Griggs, Justin Buice, Cory Landress, Halli Degraff, Barry Hicks, Mercedes Schroeder and Chris Clark; and her great grandchildren, Baylee Griggs, Noah Griggs, Gracie Griggs, Annie Grace Landress, Charlotte Landress, Lilly Hicks, Hunter Hicks, Carson Schroeder, Scott Degraff and Elyse Degraff. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1190 McEver Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
