She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wimberly and Carrie Lou Wimberly; her husband Robert William Childs; her daughter Jeanine Childs Macedo (Cesar); and her siblings, Paula Conville and John Carson Wimberly.

She is survived by: her sons, Edward Pailes (Martha) and Michael Childs (Melanie); her son-in-law Guillermo Macedo; and her sibling's children, Sandy Anderson and Richie Leblond.
