He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Edward Ellen and Marion Ann Brown. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nutting Ellen of Gainesville, GA; his daughter Deidre Morgan of Gainesville, GA; his brothers, Gary "Peanut" Ellen of Gillsville, GA and Robert Dean Ellen of Maysville, GA; and his grandchildren, Jason Hilderhoff, Jessie Hilderhoff and Julia Hilderhoff. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Homes (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
