She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Gittens and Juanita "Smith" Hasty; her husband Ralph Phillips; her daughters, Sabrina Ann Phillips and Shelly Phillips; her brother Eric Gittens; her cousin Sue Smith; and her uncle Chief Warrant Officer Donald W. Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brittany Phillips and Bridgett Brumbalow (James Furullo); her siblings, Mark Gittens (Susan), Ricky Gittens, Andy Ashley and Jamie McDonald (Jim); her aunt Betty Smith; her cousins, Ronnie Smith, Lonnie Smith (Lisa) and Cathy Smith; her sister-in-law Kathryn Underwood; and her siblings' children, Tiffany Gittens, Ansley Smith, Michael Underwood (Cindy) and Westin Gittens.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Zion Hill Baptist Church (4100 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
