With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Joseph Power Jr. of Gainesville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph, Sr. and Nettie J. Quarles Power; his wife Marilyn Hardin Power; and his siblings, Dora Lee Brown, Samantha Burdette, Evelyn Knox and Ray Power.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Power (Cindy) and Janet Rosenberry (Tucker); his grandchildren, Dustin Power (Lulu), Kayla Woods (Austin), Bretton Rosenberry and Tristan Rosenberry; his great grandchildren, Luella Power and Beau Woods; and his siblings, George Power, David Power and Marie Stewart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Little Davenport Chapel (55 Dawsonville Hwy, Dahlonega, GA 30533). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Green Lawn Cemetery (950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076).
