He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Johnson and Ouida Joiner Johnson; and his wife Frances Farmer Johnson. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa J. Peebles of Canoochee and Sandi J. Dixon of Dublin; and his grandsons, Wesley J. Peebles (Sierra) of Wilmington Island and Dylan L. Dixon of Dublin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
