Though Danita Lynn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Odas "Odell" and Irene P. Fortner; and her brother Daniel Kevin Fortner. She is survived by: her daughter Amy Johnson of Garfield; her siblings, Johnny Fortner of Sylva, NC, Julie F. Bradley of Sylva, NC, Darlene Fortner of Sylva, NC and Timothy Fortner of Mountain Rest, SC; her close friend Bobby Daw of Garfield; and her former husband Richard Johnson of Garfield. She is also survived by her friends, family, and the many furry friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church.
